Who are we?
diiVe is a global learning organization based in Cape Town, South Africa with a focus on empowering students and graduates through intensive global internship experiences that elevate their employability and develop their agency to drive real impact in their future careers.
At diiVe, we have reimagined education, prioritizing the development of empathetic, conscious and purpose-driven youth. diiVe offers high impact, integrated and cross-cultural learning experiences combining technical skills, leadership development, purpose coaching and global work experience to prepare students for the challenges of our emerging future.
diiVe’s learning philosophy uniquely focuses on building students’ necessary 21st century skills whilst supporting them in connecting to their personal purpose to use as a tool in defining their future impact through professional coaching, networking and mentorship. Students also apply their new knowledge and skills, collaborating in teams across geographies, to solve real world challenges that matter for purpose-driven/impactful organizations based in South Africa. These projects are focused on delivering sustainable and inclusive solutions for our partners across sectors, ranging from small tech startups to large, international businesses.

From a diiVer’s perspective
I cannot help but give myself a pat on the back for the growth and improvement in self-confidence that I have experienced while interning at diiVe. I can now smile at the person on the other end of the call and not merely at my screen. I am now able to express myself authentically and more fluently and with an aura of composure. This has not happened through magic. Without a doubt, I credit this improvement to the diiVe community. Whether through the weekly community events or the random-pairing check-in groups, I have found comfort, safety, and support from my fellow interns, the project mentors, and the senior diiVe staff. I have been supported in learning how to believe in myself, appreciate that I am unique, and be patient with my growth.
Besides the improvement in self-confidence, I can attribute diiVe to my immense professional growth. Having been exposed to significant concepts such as The Fourth Industrial Revolution, The Future of Work, and The World’s New Gold, among others, I have continued to get a clear sense of what I want to pursue as a career. The skills I have equipped myself with go beyond the consulting profession. Moving Forward into 2023

We are extremely excited for what the 2023 year holds for diiVe and our ecosystem. Next year we plan to launch our first undergraduate faculty-led trip to Cape Town, double the amount of funding opportunities and channels we have for our students, and explore new client partnerships in the transitional justice, ESG and sustainability sectors. We will be offering paid internships and consulting mentorship positions in 2023 (at the undergraduate and graduate level) to assist us in realizing our ambitions for the coming year!
